Who Says Car Insurance Ads Cannot Be Funny?
Let me explain. There have been a lot of blogs that advertise weight loss products like Acai or Colon Cleanses. They have before and after pictures, usually of women, where it looks like they lose their belly fat with free trial offers of products. Of course, the free trial offers are quickly followed by autoship notices and rebills that many consumers had trouble with. That is why the FTC, and many TV personalities, are filing lawsuits against the advertisers!
Anyway, we thought it might be sort of funny to parody these ads with Jen’s Car Insurance Blog. Before you bring the authorities down on our heads, you have to understand that this is just a joke. The photos are stock photos, and the commets are fabricated. OK?
The car insurance quote forms, on the blog, are quite real though!
We are not the first to try to infuse the subject of auto insurance with some humor. Look at the cute little Geiko lizard or Flo on the Progressive commercials. They have become fan favorites. And of course, there is that Essurance chick, whatever her name is.
